[ tempo… ], my MA Architecture thesis at the RCA, brings to life the value of the minute elements that re-configure cities and result from the adaptation of conventional use of certain public spaces. It challenges the role of Master Planning from a macro scale in favour of urban planning developed from the perspective of the user rather then the designer, i.e. through an understanding of the population’s needs. [ tempo… ] gives particular relevance to how almost invisible and, in most cases, ephemeral actions should inform major urban decisions that lead to eminent urban designs.
